The effect is for two borrowed wedding rings to be released from the shackle of a combination padlock which is set to the year of marriage of one of the lenders. It can also be set for a given birthday. The lock is of VERY HIGH quality. They all look very similar on the outside but it is the inner workings that you cannot see that are very important. This is the sort of effect that you will use for the rest of your life in your act. You want it to work EVERY TIME.
